EBRO 2026 updates: new SUV and hybrid models unveiled
The Spanish brand EBRO has unveiled its plans for 2026, which include updates to existing models and the launch of a new SUV. In 2025, the brand registered 12,459 vehicles, securing a spot among the top 25 best-selling brands. The sales leader was the EBRO S700, the model that marked EBRO's return to the market after a long absence.
It's also worth noting that over 12,000 crossovers were assembled at the EBRO Factory in Barcelona's free economic zone during its first year of operation.
In 2026, EBRO will refresh the S700 and S800. The updates will cover exterior design, technological features, and powertrains. For the S700, a new self-charging hybrid version (HEV) is planned, aimed at competing with models like the Renault Austral and MG HS. This powertrain will combine a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with an electric motor.
The EBRO S400 crossover will receive technical upgrades without any design changes. Specifically, new batteries are being introduced.
Additionally, by the end of 2026, EBRO plans to launch a completely new SUV. The likely names are S500 or S600, though the final name hasn't been confirmed yet. This model is expected to slot between the 4.32-meter-long S400 and the 4.55-meter-long S700, putting it at around 4.4 meters in length.
