Consumer Reports has compared all tested electric vehicles to identify the top performers. The experts rank each vehicle based on an overall score that incorporates multiple factors, including road test results, predicted reliability, owner satisfaction, and safety features.

In the study, the Ford Mustang Mach-E secured second place among two-row electric crossovers, earning a total of 81 points. It trailed only the Tesla Model Y, which scored 87 points.

The Ford crossover received above-average ratings for road tests and predicted owner satisfaction, along with average predicted reliability. This performance earned it the coveted Recommended status from Consumer Reports.

Experts highlighted several key advantages of the Ford Mustang Mach-E. Its spacious trunk makes transporting large items convenient. The fully controllable all-wheel drive boosts driver confidence across various road surfaces. With a high range, it can travel up to 300 miles without needing a battery recharge. Quick acceleration provides dynamics comparable to traditional sports cars, and responsive steering ensures comfortable, precise handling even at high speeds.
