Ferrari 12Cilindri Tailor Made collaboration with Korean artists

Ferrari has unveiled a unique 12Cilindri, created through its Tailor Made program and developed in collaboration with four South Korean artists. This car doesn't just differ from production versions—it deliberately provokes, shattering conventional ideas of what a Ferrari with a naturally aspirated V12 should be.

The project centers on a special matte body color called Yoonseul, inspired by Korean culture. Depending on the lighting, it shimmers with shades of green, blue, and purple, creating a living-surface effect. In character, the finish recalls Ford's legendary Mystichrome, but Ferrari's interpretation appears more subtle and artistic.

The look is complemented by semi-transparent badges, Scuderia Ferrari shields, and wheel caps created specifically for this car. The central section of the body features a unique livery that visually interprets the sound of the 12-cylinder engine. The graphics conclude with a darker shade of Yoonseul, emphasizing the concept without overwhelming the overall appearance. The result is a car that looks like a moving art object, not just a supercar.

The interior proves equally radical. The glass roof is adorned with a stencil pattern, the dashboard receives an insert of Mongolian horsehair, and the seats and floor are upholstered in specially developed fabric. The center tunnel and door cards are finished with matte panels bearing barely perceptible patterns that echo the exterior color. Even the paddle shifters are executed in white to harmonize with the white brake calipers.

Technically, the car is identical to the standard 12Cilindri. Under the hood lies a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 producing 818 horsepower and 678 Nm of torque. This is one of Ferrari's last purebred, non-turbocharged engines, delivering explosive character and emotional acoustics. However, given the project's exclusivity and cost, this car will likely spend more time in a collection than on the road.

This Ferrari 12Cilindri serves as a vivid example of how far personalization can go when the client and brand prioritize artistic expression over purist opinion. For Ferrari, it's not merely an experiment but a demonstration of Tailor Made capabilities and a reminder that even an iconic V12 can become part of an art project.
