BMW iX3 price increase reflects strong buyer interest

BMW has increased the price of its new iX3 electric car by €2,000, setting a new base price in Germany at €70,900. This comes after pre-orders for the model were initially accepted at €68,900.

The price adjustment was made several weeks before the model's official market launch in March 2026, indicating exceptional demand from buyers.

Customer interest in the new BMW iX3 is reported to significantly outpace the company's production capacity, despite accelerated production rates at its plant in Hungary.

Meanwhile, BMW has not yet announced pricing for the new iX3 electric crossover in North America.
