2026 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 updates with White Sands paint and engines

The updated 2026 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 pickup will feature several new exterior paint colors. One of these new shades is called White Sands, which will be offered as a no-cost option for the 2026 Silverado 1500. This color will be available on most trims, including Custom, Custom Trail Boss, RST, ZR2, and High Country, but not on WT, LT, LT Trail Boss, or LTZ.

White Sands is one of two new paint options introduced for the 2026 Silverado 1500. The other is Polar White Tricoat. Notably, White Sands effectively replaces Slate Grey Metallic, which was discontinued after the 2025 model year. In total, the 2026 Silverado 1500 will offer nine paint choices.

For buyers, the 2026 Silverado 1500 will come with multiple engine options. These include a turbocharged 2.7-liter I4 L3B gasoline engine, a naturally aspirated 5.3-liter V8 L84 gasoline engine, a naturally aspirated 6.2-liter V8 L87 gasoline engine, and a 3.0-liter I6 LZ0 Duramax turbodiesel.
