Ford Territory Hybrid arrives in Argentina with 245 hp and 1,200 km range
The refreshed Ford Territory is already on sale in Brazil, Argentina, and Mexico. At launch, it came with a single powertrain: a 1.8-liter EcoBoost rated at 185 hp and 320 Nm, sending drive to the front wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The range now expands with a hybrid version.
The Ford Territory Hybrid has made its debut in Argentina, pairing a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine that produces 150 hp on its own with an electric motor. Together they deliver a combined 245 hp and 545 Nm, and the crossover claims up to 1,200 kilometers of total range thanks to a 1.8 kWh NCM battery. The electrified setup works with a dedicated DHT gearbox. On paper, those numbers read well for a family-oriented crossover.
Based on the Trend trim, the Ford Territory Hybrid stands apart with a handful of distinctive touches: a Hybrid badge on the tailgate, black Territory lettering, a panoramic roof, Satin Gray roof rails, a shark-fin antenna, body-color side mirrors with integrated turn signals, body-color door handles, 18-inch alloy wheels with 235/55 R18 tires, and full LED headlights and taillights. The combination looks thoughtfully curated rather than flashy, which suits the model’s positioning.
Ford says the hybrid’s battery is packaged so that cabin and cargo space are not reduced, a detail that should resonate with buyers who value practicality.
In Argentina, the new Ford Territory Hybrid is offered in five exterior colors and is priced from 51,380,000 pesos. First deliveries are expected later this month.
