Peugeot 2008 refreshed: mild-hybrid lineup and e-2008

Peugeot has refreshed the 2008 crossover, making the entire lineup electrified. The model now comes only as mild-hybrid setups or as the fully electric e-2008. The former entry-level 100-hp petrol with a manual gearbox has been replaced by a 110-hp mild-hybrid paired with the brand’s e-DCS6 automatic.

The new hybrid variant is offered in Style and Allure trims at 35,640 and 37,390 euros respectively. That is about 900 euros more than the previous combustion-only version, but in return the driver gets more modern technology, lower fuel use, and an automatic transmission.

The Peugeot 2008 has long ranked among the standouts of the B-SUV class, and with the updated powertrain the model becomes even more appealing to buyers seeking a well-balanced 2025 car with frugal consumption and added comfort on the move. It reads like a well-judged upgrade: the modest power bump and the switch to the e-DCS6 should make daily city driving smoother without changing the 2008’s easygoing character.
