Bestune Joyee 07 plug-in hybrid lands in Spain: range, features and price
Chinese brand Bestune, part of FAW, is taking a significant step in Spain with its first electrified model: the Joyee 07 hybrid crossover. It targets the same crowd drawn to the BYD Seal U DM-i, MG HS PHEV and Ford Kuga PHEV.
The Bestune Joyee 07 is a five-seat SUV measuring 4.77 meters in length, offering a roomy cabin and a 590-liter boot. Its setup pairs a 1.5-liter turbo engine with 150 hp and a 228-hp electric motor for a combined 250 hp, delivering 0–100 km/h in 6.9 seconds. Top speed is 180 km/h, and drive goes to the front wheels. On paper, those figures suggest brisk pace for a family-focused SUV.
The LFP battery has a capacity of 21.2 kWh, enabling up to 110 km of electric-only driving on the WLTP cycle. In some countries there’s a larger 30.9 kWh option rated for 210 km, though it isn’t offered in Spain yet—an upgrade that would likely broaden its appeal once available.
In Spain the model comes in a single Premium specification priced at 37,505 euros. Equipment includes a panoramic roof, 18-inch wheels, full LED lighting, a digital instrument cluster, a 12.6-inch vertical infotainment display, heated seats, wireless charging and a power-operated tailgate. The spec sheet reads generous for the segment.
All told, the Bestune Joyee 07 lands as a fresh Chinese contender for the Spanish market—affordable, well-equipped and clearly aimed at drivers looking for an easy step into electrification.
