Ford Transit Custom Grey Platinum plug-in hybrid unveiled

Ford has unveiled a new version of its plug-in hybrid Transit Custom called the Grey Platinum. This model targets entrepreneurs who prioritize meeting urban environmental standards while enjoying high equipment levels.

The Transit Custom PHEV delivers 233 horsepower and can travel up to 55 kilometers on electric power alone. With a maximum towing capacity of 2,300 kilograms and a payload of up to 1,200 kilograms, it's well-suited for small businesses operating within city restrictions.

Based on the Limited trim, which sits just above the Trend, the Grey Platinum adds side skirts, more sporty bumpers, a roof spoiler, matte gray graphics with red accents, and black 17-inch alloy wheels. Inside, it features black artificial leather upholstery. The double-cab version includes side panels that simulate glazing.

In Europe, the Transit Custom Grey Platinum van starts at 52,016 euros excluding VAT, while the double-cab version begins at 57,069 euros.
