Dacia's new models: C-Neo crossover and electric city car
Dacia is preparing a major expansion of its model lineup, with two new vehicles set to launch in 2026-2027. Notably, neither will be produced in Romania. The first is the new C-Neo crossover estate, positioned above the Jogger in the brand's range. Originally planned for production in Mioveni, assembly has been shifted to Turkey, allowing the Romanian plant to focus on the Duster and Bigster.
The C-Neo will be built on the CMF-B platform, offering petrol and LPG engines, as well as mild and full hybrids with a 1.2-liter turbocharged engine. Its design is promised to be in the spirit of the Sandero Stepway—more muscular and aimed at the crossover audience.
The second newcomer will be an electric city car based on the Renault Twingo. With a starting price around €18,000, it will be one of the most affordable EVs in Europe, though not cheaper than the Chinese-made Spring. Production will be located at the Novo Mesto plant in Slovenia.
This electric car targets the A-segment, a strategically important market for Dacia where demand for mini-EVs continues to grow. A published teaser shows that while the model will mirror the Twingo's proportions, it will feature a completely different design.
