2027 Chevrolet Bolt EV with Super Cruise and 262-mile range
The 2027 model year Chevrolet Bolt has officially gone on sale in the United States, though its advanced Super Cruise autonomous driving system won't be available until closer to the end of 2026. This means the first models rolling off dealer lots won't feature the system.
Once integrated, Super Cruise will be able to interface with Google Maps. The built-in navigation can display roads compatible with the feature and show how many minutes on a given route can be driven hands-free.
Overall, key specs for the updated 2027 Chevrolet Bolt EV include an increased driving range, now an impressive 262 miles. The vehicle supports fast charging at up to 150 kilowatts via the universal NACS connector, enabling owners to charge at Tesla stations.
Furthermore, company engineers have reworked the electric motor to improve overall performance. The interior has also been modernized, featuring new 11.3-inch infotainment and 11-inch digital instrument cluster displays. However, the new Bolt version does not yet support the popular Apple CarPlay and Android Auto multimedia systems, a point of inconvenience for users of both platforms.
