Mercedes-Benz slashes U.S. EV prices with incentives up to $50,000

Mercedes-Benz has unexpectedly kicked off a sweeping sale of its electric models in the United States. As reported by CarsDirect, the German brand is offering discounts of up to $50,000 across virtually the entire EV lineup, from the compact EQB to the lavish Maybach EQS 680.

The biggest cut goes to the 2025 Maybach EQS 680—$50,000 off, which is $20,000 more than a month ago. The new 2026 version now carries a $23,000 incentive after previously offering none.

Mainline EQS and EQE models are cheaper, too: sedans and SUVs come with up to $10,000 off for purchases or $10,500 on leases. The EQB is eligible for up to $9,500, and even the electric G-Class (G 580 EQ Technology) gets $5,000 off when leased.

Notably, these incentives arrived after federal tax credits ended, making the math especially attractive. The offers aren’t being splashed in ads, though—the discounts flow from factory to dealer, and the final price depends on the store.

While demand for EVs has cooled, Mercedes isn’t backing away from electrification. The brand is preparing to retire the standalone EQ badge in favor of “EQ Technology” on future models. For buyers, this is a rare chance to secure a luxury electric Mercedes at unusually deep savings—an aggressive move that hints at a push for showroom momentum and gives shoppers real leverage.
