Volvo EX90 2027 electric SUV gets new trim and pricing

Volvo has updated its EX90 electric crossover for the 2027 model year. The main change is the introduction of a more affordable Twin Motor version in the Core trim, starting at €88,995. That's €5,000 less than the Plus trim, which has increased in price to €93,995. Meanwhile, the Ultra trim has become cheaper, now starting at €99,495.

Technically, the powertrain lineup remains unchanged. The Single Motor version comes with a 92 kWh battery and produces 333 horsepower, offering a range of up to 569 km. The Twin Motor and Twin Motor Performance versions are equipped with a 106 kWh battery, delivering 456 and 680 horsepower respectively, with a range of up to 624 km.

All Core versions now come standard with the Pilot Assist system, while the Plus and Ultra trims additionally receive the Pilot Assist Pack and Climate Pack. For the Ultra trim, air suspension has become a €2,195 option. A new color, Forest Lake Metallic, has been added to the palette.

The updated EX90 remains one of the key new vehicles for 2026 in the electric family SUV segment, offering seven seats and expanded standard equipment.
