Baojun Yep 2026 Second Anniversary Edition: specs, range and price

The SAIC-GM-Wuling joint venture has launched a new version of its compact electric crossover—the Baojun Yep 2026 Second Anniversary Edition. Timed to the model’s second birthday, it’s a refreshed take on the original two-door Yep that premiered in 2023.

The anniversary model receives unique exterior finishes and new contrasting accents. Buyers can choose a soft blue with white elements or a bright yellow with glossy black details. It’s offered exclusively as a two-door, with the four-door Yep Plus left out of this update—a choice that underscores its city-focused brief and keeps the package tidy.

There are no mechanical changes: the Baojun Yep 2026 uses a 50 kW (67 hp) electric motor with 140 Nm of torque. A 28.1 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery delivers up to 303 km of range. In China, prices start at 72,800 yuan (about $10,250), while the top Zhizun version is priced at $11,650. On paper, the modest output and range align neatly with everyday urban use.

The model remains one of General Motors’ most accessible electric newcomers in China and continues to reinforce Baojun’s position in the urban EV segment. The anniversary touches add a bit of showroom sparkle without disturbing a formula that clearly works for city roads.
