Mercedes-Benz GLC 400 4MATIC EQ 2026: specs, range, and release info

The first deliveries of the Mercedes-Benz GLC 400 4MATIC EQ are scheduled for March 14, 2026, according to recent information. Interestingly, most of the vehicles are already on display at dealer showrooms, though official sales at dealerships won't begin until late April.

The GLC EQ will be offered in several variants. The base version features an engine with around 313 horsepower and a roughly 64-kilowatt-hour battery, providing a range of up to approximately 485 kilometers.

Above the base level, versions with increased battery capacity and higher engine power will be available. One modification, with a battery capacity of about 85 kilowatt-hours and around 354 horsepower, can achieve a range of up to 665 km. At the top of the lineup, excluding the AMG variant, sits the GLC 400 4MATIC EQ, which is the model launching sales first. It offers about 489 horsepower and combines electric drive with the brand's all-wheel-drive system. Thanks to the use of a large battery pack, this configuration can deliver a range exceeding 700 kilometers.

The equipment list for the Mercedes-Benz GLC EQ will also expand gradually. Initially, some comfort options will only be available through special equipment packages. However, the manufacturer plans to offer additional features separately over the course of the year. Among these is a seat ventilation system, which will soon be orderable independently of comprehensive option packages. New interior leather colors and design solutions are also planned for introduction.
