Cadillac launches in Brazil with electric crossovers

Cadillac has officially confirmed its entry into the Brazilian market and presented its brand launch strategy for the country. Sales will begin with a fully electric lineup of crossovers, aligning with the company's global expansion strategy.

The initial phase will offer customers three electric SUVs: the Cadillac Optiq, Cadillac Lyriq, and Cadillac Vistiq. These models will cover different market segments, ranging from the compact Optiq to the larger Vistiq. Sales are planned to start before the end of the year.

The vehicles will be distributed through a network of dealerships and special showrooms in the country's largest cities. The first centers will appear in Brasília, Curitiba, and São Paulo.

Cadillac emphasizes that the primary driver of growth in Brazil's premium automotive market today is electric vehicles and other zero-emission models. However, the company does not rule out the possibility that versions with internal combustion engines or hybrid powertrains could appear on the market in the future if demand is sufficient. Details about the specifications and technical features of the models for the Brazilian market are planned to be revealed closer to the start of sales.
