Lamborghini's new titanium exhaust system for Huracan and Urus

Lamborghini has unveiled a new titanium exhaust system for the Huracan supercar and Urus crossover. Developed in collaboration with Slovenian company Akrapovic, it will be sold through the brand's official dealer network.

This system joins the Lamborghini Accessori Originali lineup. According to the manufacturer, the exhaust was designed to meet Lamborghini's specific sound and performance requirements while remaining fully compatible with the factory warranty.

In practice, this means the company has acknowledged what supercar owners have long known: the standard exhaust left plenty of room for improvement in sound. Many owners have traditionally turned to tuning shops after purchase to make their vehicles louder and more emotionally engaging.

The titanium construction reduces weight and enhances the engine's acoustic characteristics. Lamborghini promises a more expressive sound without the excessive loudness typical of many aftermarket systems.

Overall, the new exhaust aims to highlight the character of Lamborghini engines while maintaining a balance between vibrant sound and comfort on public roads. Currently available for the Huracán and Urus, similar solutions may eventually extend to the brand's upcoming hybrid models.
