New Audi RS5 Avant 2027 render with hybrid powertrain and widebody kit

Renderings of the new Audi RS5 Avant for 2027 have surfaced online, showcasing an extreme widebody kit. These images were shared by a designer under the username avantedesigns_, who aimed to present a vision of what Audi's sporty wagon could look like in a radical tuning version.

The new Audi RS5 Avant replaces the RS4 Avant and features a hybrid powertrain. At its core is a 2.9-liter biturbo V6 engine, paired with an electric motor integrated into the transmission. The gasoline engine produces 503 horsepower and 600 Nm of torque, while the electric motor adds another 174 horsepower and 460 Nm.

This combination results in a total system output of 630 horsepower, enabling the wagon to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in approximately 3.6 seconds. The car is also equipped with a 22 kWh battery that offers up to 80 km of electric-only range.

In the rendered design, the model takes on a much more aggressive appearance. The wagon features widened wheel arches, substantial side skirts, a redesigned front bumper, and a hood with ventilation openings.

At the rear, it gains a large diffuser, an additional stop light, and two spoilers. The car also sports distinctive alloy wheels and a lowered suspension. Completing the look are a matte red paint finish, black decorative elements, and a roof-mounted cargo box.

Although this project exists only in digital form, it highlights how striking the new Audi RS5 Avant could appear with a bolder design approach. Such visualizations often serve as inspiration for future tuning projects.
