Hyundai Ioniq 6 N: electric sports car with 650 hp
Hyundai has launched sales of the Ioniq 6 N in Germany, starting at €75,900. This marks the second all-electric vehicle in the N lineup after the Ioniq 5 N, designed with a focus on dynamic performance and handling.
Equipped with dual electric motors, the model delivers a total output of 448 kW (609 hp), which can be boosted to 478 kW (650 hp) with the N Grin Boost mode activated. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds, or 3.2 seconds with Launch Control, and reaches a top speed of 257 km/h.
The car features a redesigned suspension with a lower roll center, active aerodynamics, wider wheel arches, and a rear spoiler. These elements work together to enhance stability at high speeds. Energy consumption is rated at 18.7 kWh per 100 km.
Inside, the cabin includes two 12.3-inch displays, a sport steering wheel with quick access to driving modes and customization functions, and driver assistance systems such as highway driving assist and automatic braking.
Special attention has been given to the battery, with an updated management system that supports various usage scenarios, including track modes. Overall, the model adds to the 2026 sports car segment by offering a blend of high power, advanced technology, and everyday practicality.
