Xiaomi SU7 electric sedan deliveries begin March 23

Xiaomi has announced that deliveries of its new-generation SU7 electric sedan will begin on March 23. Company CEO Lei Jun shared the news, explaining that the first vehicles will be handed over to customers during a special ceremony that will be livestreamed.

Record-Breaking Demand at Launch

Interest in the new model has been exceptionally strong: within just 34 minutes of sales opening, over 15,000 orders were placed. This demonstrates both high trust in the brand and growing consumer appetite for electric vehicles equipped with advanced digital technologies.

To accelerate deliveries, Xiaomi prepared an initial batch of vehicles in advance. As a result, the first buyers can expect to receive their cars within 1 to 5 weeks of placing an order. This approach helps minimize wait times and should boost customer satisfaction.

Technology and the Digital Cabin

The new SU7 features a refreshed intelligent cabin built around Xiaomi's proprietary system. It comes with a large 16.1-inch central screen, a head-up display, and additional screens for passengers, creating a comprehensive digital ecosystem inside the vehicle.

The voice assistant can now control most vehicle functions, while the navigation system has become more accurate thanks to AI integration. Additional features include user recognition and seamless connectivity with the broader Xiaomi device ecosystem, effectively making the car an extension of the owner's digital life.

Performance and Specifications

The electric sedan is offered in three versions with varying specs. Range extends up to 902 km, and with fast charging, the car can regain up to 490 km of range in just 15 minutes—figures that position it among the most efficient models in its class.

The SU7 is equipped with lidar, 4D radar, and a high-performance computing platform that powers advanced driver-assistance systems. Together, these elements allow the sedan to compete confidently with market leaders and set new benchmarks in the electric sedan segment.
