Leapmotor B10 Hybrid EV: extended-range crossover with 900 km range
Leapmotor launches the B10 Hybrid EV in Europe, starting at €29,900. Features 86 km electric range, 900 km total range, and advanced tech like LEAP OS 4.0 Plus.
Leapmotor has introduced the B10 Hybrid EV, an extended-range crossover, to the European market. The model starts at €29,900, according to a press release.
It features an 18.8 kWh battery, which provides up to 86 km of pure electric range. A 1.5-liter gasoline generator with 50 kW of power and a 50-liter fuel tank are also included. This combination results in a total range of up to 900 km.
The vehicle uses a series hybrid setup, meaning the wheels are driven by an electric motor, while the internal combustion engine acts solely as a generator to recharge the battery. Four driving modes are available: EV+, EV, Fuel, and Power+.
With a length of 4,530 mm and a wheelbase of 2,735 mm, the crossover comes in two trim levels and several styling options. Inside, a 14.6-inch display runs the LEAP OS 4.0 Plus system, powered by a Qualcomm 8155 chip. An over-the-air update has added support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with one-pedal driving. Standard equipment includes seven airbags and 17 driver-assistance systems, such as adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assist.
