Porsche 718 Cayman leads sports car value retention with 9.6% depreciation
In the sports car segment, the Porsche 718 Cayman leads the pack when it comes to retaining its value after five years of ownership. According to iSeeCars analysts, this model has lost just 9.6% of its value over the past half-decade.
Following closely is its bigger sibling, the Porsche 911, which has seen an 11.1% depreciation from its original price after five years. The Chevrolet C8 Corvette comes next in the rankings, with its value dropping by 18.7% over the same period.
The iSeeCars study reveals that sports cars make up seven of the top 25 models across all segments for value retention. This includes vehicles like the Subaru BRZ, which lost 23.7% of its value, the Toyota GR Supra at 24%, the Ford Mustang at 26.8%, and the Mazda MX-5 Miata at 31.5%.
