Porsche launches rare 911 GT3 90 F.A. edition in Germany

Porsche is preparing to launch one of the rarest 911 variants in Germany. Orders for the limited-edition 911 GT3 90 F.A. will open in April, celebrating the 90th birthday of Ferdinand Alexander Porsche, the legendary designer behind the 911's iconic shape.

Only 89 cars available

Originally, 90 units were planned, but one has already been given to the Porsche family. That leaves just 89 cars for customers, making this model one of the most exclusive in the lineup.

Production is set to begin in mid-2026, with buyers gaining access to individual configuration through the Sonderwunsch department.

Same mechanicals, focus on details

Technically, the car is identical to the standard 911 GT3 Touring. Under the hood lies a naturally aspirated flat-six engine producing 502 horsepower and 331 Nm of torque.

The main focus is on design. The body is painted in a unique F.A. Green shade inspired by classic 911 models, while the interior features exclusive materials, signature stitching, and decorative elements bearing Porsche's signature.

Price and exclusive perks

The model starts at $387,000 before options. The package includes not only unique trim elements but also additional privileges, such as personal consultation during the ordering process.

Buyers will also receive exclusive accessories, including limited-edition Porsche Design watches created specifically for this series.

Ultimately, Porsche is betting on heritage and emotion rather than technology. The 911 GT3 90 F.A. isn't just a sports car; it's a collector's item aimed at a narrow audience for whom brand history matters as much as performance.
