2026 Ford Mustang RTR package: what's included and cost
It's worth noting that the RTR package adds $6,520 to the price of the base EcoBoost Fastback model—the only body style available—regardless of whether you choose the standard 101A EcoBoost or EcoBoost Premium trim.
The package includes numerous useful features. These encompass an RTR grille with illumination, a Tarnished Dark anodized pony emblem and mirror caps, RTR fender badges, an RTR decklid, and additional Tarnished Dark elements such as graphics on the hood, rocker panels, and rear quarter panels, plus a GT Performance Pack rear spoiler.
The wheels also come in Tarnished Dark, sized 19x9.5 inches with a 30mm offset. Buyers can select any body color already offered in the 2026 pony car lineup or opt for the new Avalanche Grey shade.
Inside the 2026 Ford Mustang RTR, new accents adorn the dashboard, center console, door cards, and drift brake handle, though buyers can delete this option at no extra cost. The package further includes illuminated RTR sill plates, RTR-branded graphics for the vehicle's screens, and a serial number plaque on the dashboard.
Under the hood, the 2026 Ford Mustang RTR is powered by the turbocharged 2.3-liter I-4 EcoBoost engine, which remains unchanged from the standard configuration. Additional equipment includes an active valve exhaust system, an electronic drift brake function, and an RTR system designed to reduce throttle lag.
Braking is handled by six-piston front and four-piston rear Brembo calipers. The package also incorporates the same rear subframe, front and rear stabilizer bars as the Dark Horse. Finally, the RTR receives a unique stability control calibration for Track mode, an optimized steering gear with increased travel, and a new tuning for the optional MagneRide dampers.
