BMW Value Service offers certified maintenance for older vehicles
BMW is making life easier for owners whose factory warranties have expired. Starting March 1, 2026, the company has launched a new service program called Value Service.
This program applies exclusively to BMW and MINI vehicles older than 37 months—over three years—and aims to win back owners who have been taking their out-of-warranty BMWs to independent workshops.
The program covers a range of standard maintenance operations, including the most common types of work: oil changes; installation of new oil, air, and fuel filters; replacement of brake pads and discs; spark plug replacement; and other scheduled maintenance tasks specific to each vehicle.
The advantage of Value Service is that it uses BMW-certified technicians and genuine parts. Additionally, parts come with a two-year warranty, something most independent service centers cannot offer.
However, the program does have certain restrictions. For instance, a vehicle must be less than 20 years old to qualify. Furthermore, premium ALPINA models are excluded—owners of these exclusive cars receive separate servicing.
