Toyota's March 2026 sales in the U.S.: Camry tops the list
In March, Toyota sold 182,606 vehicles in the U.S. market, a 6.9% decrease compared to last year. Quarterly sales reached 488,468 units, which is slightly better but still down 0.3%. These figures do not include Lexus sales. When factoring in the luxury brand's sales, the conglomerate's March sales actually dropped by 17.3%.
While the RAV4 was Toyota's best-selling model a year ago, this crossover fell to fourth place last month in 2026. Here are Toyota's top-selling models for March:
- Camry: 30,680 units (+3.4% year-over-year);
- Tacoma: 24,998 units (+4.4% year-over-year);
- Corolla: 23,210 units (+8% year-over-year);
- RAV4: 21,693 units (-47.7% year-over-year);
- Grand Highlander: 13,895 units (+26.8% year-over-year).
It's noteworthy that a sedan rarely becomes an automaker's best-selling vehicle in 2026, but the Camry earned that distinction in March and for the quarter overall.
Meanwhile, RAV4 sales in the first quarter plummeted 48.1%, totaling 59,869 units compared to 115,402 units in the same quarter last year.
