Three Nissan models have won awards in the "Best Value New Cars" category from Cars.com for 2026. The top honors go to well-equipped and affordable vehicles that stand out as the best in their segments.

The following Nissan models were recognized as the best in their categories:

• 2026 Nissan Kicks S — subcompact crossover
• 2026 Nissan Rogue S — compact crossover
• 2026 Nissan Frontier SV — midsize pickup

The Cars.com Best Value New Cars award isn't about luxury vehicles; it focuses on mainstream models that come with the technology and safety features consumers expect while remaining budget-friendly. In practice, this means these cars offer an optimal balance of price and essential features.

Unlike rankings of the cheapest cars on the market, the Cars.com Best Value New Cars Awards highlight models with the best value for money. For the 2026 competition, eligible vehicles had to be mainstream, non-luxury models and include the following standard or available features:
