Lexus fuel pump recall for 507 Canadian vehicles

Lexus is recalling 507 vehicles in Canada due to a potential issue with the low-pressure fuel pump.

The recall affects the following models:

• 2016–2020 Lexus GS F;
• 2022 Lexus IS 500;
• 2015–2022 Lexus RC F.

If this fault is present, owners might see the Check Engine light illuminate and experience engine misfires or stalling. More critically, it could lead to a sudden loss of power while driving, which increases the risk of an accident.

Lexus will notify owners by mail and advise them to visit a dealership for a free replacement of the fuel pump.
