Audi E-Tron depreciation: 2021 model value drops sharply

The Audi E-Tron carried a price tag of over $80,000 in the US market in 2021. According to analysts at Kelly Blue Book, that same car can now be purchased for less than a quarter of that amount. This means the 2021 Audi E-Tron has lost a substantial portion of its value after just five years on the road.

Experts point out that the current average purchase price for a five-year-old Audi E-Tron ranges from $20,700 to $25,200 for the standard e-tron model, depending on its trim level. The Sportback variant typically commands an additional premium of around $2,000.

Following a refresh in 2022, the model was renamed to the less confusing Q8 e-tron. Production of the vehicle ended in 2025 with the closure of the Belgian factory where it was assembled.
