Fiat Strada stays ahead as Chevrolet Onix surges; VW Polo slides in Brazil's mid-November rankings

Sales in Brazil in the first half of November brought a few surprises. Fiat Strada remains on top with 6,136 units sold, pulling clear of the period’s standout, the Chevrolet Onix, which logged 5,274 registrations and surged up the table.

VW Tera holds third with 4,361, but the cushion is thin: Hyundai Creta posted 4,232, and the HB20 rounds out the top five with 4,095, almost on its heels. VW T-Cross continued its recovery to take sixth. Inside Fiat’s lineup, the rivalry sharpened as the Argo edged the Mobi by just 56 cars.

The headline, however, is the Volkswagen Polo’s slide. The year-to-date passenger-car leader is clearly losing momentum, slipping to ninth with 3,632 and effectively yielding the fight for the annual top spot to the Strada, now nearly 15,000 ahead. The shift underscores how quickly the pecking order can change when pace drops even slightly.

Among sedans, the Onix Plus keeps the upper hand at 2,108, with the HB20S close enough to apply pressure. Near the foot of the top 25, the Nissan Kicks and Jeep Renegade are split by just 19 units, while the Chevrolet S10 makes a surprise return to the ranking after a long absence.
