Tesla Model X Signature Edition ends production, all units sold

Tesla has concluded sales of the limited-edition Model X Signature Edition, with only 100 units produced. All vehicles were sold out by April 16, 2026. This series marks the final production run for the current generation before manufacturing ceases at the Fremont factory.

The Signature Edition was available exclusively by invitation to current Tesla owners. These cars feature an exclusive Garnet Red paint job, unique trim elements, and a six-seat interior configuration.

Technically, the model retains the specifications of the Plaid version, including three electric motors, all-wheel drive, and over 1,000 horsepower. Deliveries are set to begin in May 2026.

Tesla previously announced the discontinuation of the Model S and Model X to shift production capacity toward the Optimus humanoid robots. The company stated this direction could become central to its future business strategy.

The Model X, introduced in 2015, has been one of the brand's iconic electric crossovers. This final series highlights continued interest in Tesla's premium models despite the strategic shift. These vehicles are already being viewed as 2026 models with potential collector value.
