Toyota remains world's most valuable automotive brand, Mercedes follows

Toyota still holds the top spot as the world's most valuable automotive brand. The brand's value is 54.4 billion euros. The Japanese automaker also leads the Brand Strength Index (BSI) with a score of 92.5 out of 100 and an AAA+ rating.

Mercedes-Benz remains in second place globally, though its brand value fell by 15% to 40.4 billion euros. BMW follows in third with a steady valuation of 38 billion euros.

Volkswagen posted the strongest growth among German brands, up 10% to 31 billion euros, securing fourth place worldwide. Porsche, with a market worth of 30.5 billion euros, stays in fifth.

American EV maker Tesla ranks sixth with a brand value of 27.6 billion dollars.

Earlier, it was reported that Toyota may restrict sales of the GR GT to select customers.
