2026 Toyota Camry Tailored for China: Hybrid 2.0 HEV Debuts

Toyota unveiled the 2026 Camry at the 2026 Beijing Auto Show, specifically tailored for the Chinese market. The GAC Toyota joint venture introduced multiple versions, with the hybrid 2.0 HEV variant drawing particular attention.

Externally, the 2026 Camry retains its recognizable design but looks younger and more dynamic. This version features a mesh grille, a black spoiler, and 18-inch wheels. Inside, it offers ambient lighting with 64 colors, an intelligent air fragrance system, a digital instrument cluster, and an infotainment system with support for modern assistants. Top trims include a panoramic view system, a digital key, and an advanced parking assistance system.

The 2.0 HEV variant is equipped with a hybrid powertrain delivering a combined output of 197 hp (145 kW), paired with an e-CVT transmission.
