Volvo updates XC90, XC60, and unveils all-electric XC70

Volvo introduced updated versions of its XC90, XC60, and XC70 crossovers at the 2026 Beijing Auto Show. Both models retain their recognizable design but receive targeted changes in appearance and equipment.

The XC90 remains the range flagship. It gets a redesigned grille, updated lighting with the signature Thor's Hammer LED graphics, and new wheel options. Inside, the focus is on digital services and upgraded interior materials. The infotainment system is also expected to receive updates, along with expanded driver assistance features.

The compact XC60 follows a similar update pattern. It features a modernized front end, revised bumpers, and updated lighting. The interior keeps its minimalist layout but gains more advanced electronics and interfaces, making it more tech-oriented.

Also on display was the all-new all-electric XC70, which stands out with a closed-off front end and contemporary lighting design. This highlights the brand's push toward electrifying its lineup.

Specific technical details for the updated XC90 and XC60 have not been fully disclosed at the show. They are expected to retain the hybrid powertrains found in recent versions. These debuts underscore Volvo's strategy of gradually refreshing its key models while moving toward more digital and sustainable solutions.
