Ford Transit Custom Recall: Incorrect Digital Owner’s Manual

Ford Australia is recalling 2,246 Transit Custom vans from the 2024 and 2025 model years because of potential inaccuracies in the digital owner’s manual.

A recall notice filed with the Department of Infrastructure says the manual may contain incorrect information regarding the location of child seat anchor points, airbags, seat belts, and post-crash assistance details.

Ford notes, however, that the error does not compromise safety or affect the van’s driving dynamics.

The automaker will notify affected owners by mail and ask them to contact an authorized dealer for an updated owner’s manual.
