Mazda 6e Electric Becomes €5,000 Cheaper in the Netherlands
The electric Mazda 6e has become significantly more affordable in the Netherlands. The liftback previously started at €44,990, but the base Takumi Business Edition now opens at just €39,990—a full €5,000 drop.
There are no changes under the skin. The entry-level model still features a 258-hp electric motor, a 68.8-kWh battery, and a range of up to 479 km. It also supports fast charging at up to 165 kW. If you opt for the Takumi Plus Business Edition with the same battery, the price climbs to €41,940.
The lineup also includes the Mazda 6e Long Range. It upgrades to an 80-kWh battery, producing 245 hp and delivering up to 552 km of range. However, fast-charging power dips to 90 kW. In Takumi Business Edition trim, the Long Range costs €41,590, while the Takumi Plus Business Edition comes in at €43,540.
One key detail: the Business Edition cars are essentially dealer stock. In fact, the Dutch importer is currently only offering these versions of the Mazda 6e. The reasoning behind the revised pricing hasn’t been explained yet. It's possible that a model refresh is on the way, though there's no official word to confirm that.
