Shelby American 810-HP F-150 Special Edition Marks 10 Years

Shelby American has unveiled a special-edition F-150 to mark the 10th anniversary of its tuned version of the Ford pickup. It's based on the Ford F-150 Lariat SuperCrew 4x4 with the 5.0-liter V8.

Under the hood, Shelby fit a Stage 2 supercharger, upgraded fuel injectors, a carbon-fiber intake, a larger heat exchanger, and a Borla exhaust. The result is more than 810 horsepower; torque figures haven't been released yet.

The suspension uses King Shocks with adjustable Race Series 2.5 dampers, along with a lift kit and new control arms. It rides on 35-inch BFGoodrich KO3 tires wrapped around 22-inch wheels. Braking comes from larger Baer discs, which are drilled and vented.

On the outside, the Shelby F-150 gets a hood with an air scoop, a redesigned grille, flared fenders, side steps, painted vents, and the company's signature stripes. Buyers can choose from 10 body colors and six stripe designs.

Inside, you'll find leather upholstery, carbon-fiber trim, aluminum pedals, a digital instrument cluster, and numbered anniversary badges. Production is capped at 600 units for the U.S., and pricing starts at $140,795 including the base F-150 Lariat. That price tag means the modifications alone cost more than a brand-new Ford Ranger Raptor.
