Chevrolet is highlighting the benefits of its heavy-duty trucks with Isuzu technology, sold in several South American markets. The lineup includes updated models featuring more efficient Euro-6 diesel engines. According to company representatives, the new engines are not only more environmentally friendly but also offer improved performance and reduced operating costs.

Richard Studer, after-sales coordinator for Chevrolet Trucks, stated that customers today need solutions that allow them to work more efficiently and increase their competitiveness. He added that the Euro-6 standard represents a step forward in both environmental friendliness and performance and profitability.

In particular, Chevrolet trucks with Isuzu engines produced in Chile are equipped with next-generation powertrains, such as the 3.0-liter four-cylinder 4JZ1. Developed to Euro-6 standards, this engine maintains or even surpasses the power and torque of previous larger-displacement engines. This trend improves energy efficiency and cuts fuel consumption without sacrificing performance, leading to lower operating costs.
