2027 Jeep Avenger: New Trims, Gasoline Powertrain, Orders Open
Jeep has updated the Avenger for the 2027 model year and begun taking orders in Spain. This compact SUV is a crucial model for the brand in Europe, having racked up over 270,000 orders since its launch and becoming Jeep's best-seller in the region. The first customer deliveries are expected in September.
The lineup is now broader. The Avenger will be available in Longitude, Altitude, Upland, 85º Aniversario, Summit, and Overland trims. The 85º Aniversario special edition celebrates Jeep's 85th anniversary and will be offered only for a limited period.
Even the base Longitude comes with a 10-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.1-inch multimedia screen with navigation, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, automatic lights and wipers, rear parking sensors, Selec Terrain, hill-start assist, tire pressure monitoring, and e-Call.
Moving up the trim levels, you get wireless charging, a rearview camera, LED fog lights, 18-inch wheels, Matrix LED headlights, a 360-degree camera, a panoramic roof, a power tailgate, adaptive cruise control, and blind-spot monitoring.
The headline powertrain addition is a 1.2-liter turbocharged gasoline engine producing 100 hp, paired with a six-speed manual gearbox and front-wheel drive. It features a chain-driven timing system. Pricing for this variant starts at €25,075 (roughly $27,300).
The e-Hybrid option carries over, with a 1.2-liter turbo engine making 110 hp, a 48-volt system, a six-speed automated manual transmission, and front-wheel drive. It starts at €27,110 (approximately $29,500). For those wanting more capability, there's the 145-hp e-Hybrid 4xe with electric all-wheel drive, priced from €33,075 (about $36,000).
The fully electric Avenger gets a 115 kW (156 hp) motor and a 54 kWh NMC battery. Range is rated at up to 400 km on the WLTP cycle. Pricing for the EV starts at €37,110 (around $40,400).
The update is more market-driven than revolutionary. Jeep has upgraded the equipment lineup, introduced a simple gasoline entry-level option, and retained the hybrid and electric variants. For Europe, that matters more than flashy experiments—buyers get a choice that fits various budgets and use cases.
