Ford Edge L refresh: design, dimensions, tech and hybrid specs
The refreshed Edge L channels Ford’s current design language with dynamic surfaces and expressive detailing. The alloy wheels adopt a sharper look, the palette now adds black and silver finishes for extra visual punch, and top trims fit silver roof rails. The whole package comes across cohesive and confident.
Dimensions
Dimensions are 5,000 mm in length, 1,961 mm in width, and 1,773 mm in height, with a 2,950 mm wheelbase. The rear lights are LED with a tint, and a two-piece roof spoiler adds a discreet sporty touch.
Inside, the Edge L features a 360-degree view system that boosts visibility with surround monitoring and a semi-transparent body function. In premium trims, second-row seats gain heating, ventilation, and one-touch quick folding. With the rear seats down, cargo capacity reaches 2,876 liters, making everyday family duty that bit easier.
Technology
The equipment list includes a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 27-inch 4K multimedia display, a head-up display, the SYNC+ 2.0 system, and the Ford Co-Pilot360 driver-assistance suite. The expansive screen sets a clean, modern tone while keeping controls straightforward.
The Edge L is offered with gasoline and hybrid powertrains. The hybrid pairs a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine with the EcoBoost E system, delivering 275 hp and 405 Nm. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.1 seconds and averages 6.31 l/100 km. On paper, that combination promises brisk progress with sensible efficiency.
