Mercedes EQE SUV Gets Massive Price Cut in Spain
Mercedes dramatically reduces EQE SUV price in Spain by over €36,000. Now from €57,593, the electric crossover offers up to 628 km range. Competing with BMW iX and Audi Q8 e-tron.
Mercedes has dramatically slashed the price of the EQE SUV in Spain. As part of a promotion, the electric crossover can now be had from €57,593 (around $67,600 or 4.8 million rubles). The official list price exceeds €94,000, meaning the discount comes to €36,456—roughly 3 million rubles.
The star of the promotion is the Mercedes EQE 350+ AMG Night Edition SUV. It features rear-wheel drive, a 292-hp electric motor, and a usable battery capacity of 96 kWh. WLTP range is up to 628 km, and fast charging at up to 170 kW can take the battery from 10 to 80% in about 32 minutes.
For buyers craving performance, there's the EQE SUV 500 4MATIC: dual motors, all-wheel drive, 449 hp, and up to 597 km of range. At the top of the lineup sits a 625-hp version, but its range drops noticeably to around 452 km WLTP. This highlights a shift in the logic for expensive EVs: more power doesn't always win if long-distance travel matters.
In terms of size, the EQE SUV sits between the GLC and GLE: length 4.86 m, wheelbase 3.03 m, trunk volume 520 liters. The cabin features premium materials, excellent sound insulation, the MBUX digital architecture, and on higher trims, options like Hyperscreen, air suspension, rear-wheel steering, and advanced driver assistance systems.
This price cut changes perceptions. Until recently, the EQE SUV was an expensive electric Mercedes for a narrow audience; now it competes with well-equipped diesel SUVs and sits closer to the BMW iX, Polestar 3, and Audi Q8 e-tron. The move suggests Mercedes isn't just clearing inventory—it's trying to reignite interest in its premium EVs as Chinese rivals and Tesla keep pushing prices downward.
