Matte Silver Cadillac Escalade IQL: A Custom Electric Luxury SUV
The Cadillac Escalade IQL gets a stunning matte silver wrap and custom wheels from DESIGNBYTMW. This tuned electric SUV boasts 750 hp and 740 km range.
Most tuned Escalades follow a predictable formula: black paint, black wheels, tinted glass, and little to no chrome. This Cadillac Escalade IQL takes a different approach.
The crew at DESIGNBYTMW wrapped the entire electric SUV in matte silver Satin Silver White Aluminum film. They paired it with Giovanna Panik wheels painted to match. The taillights were smoked and windows tinted, creating contrast against the bright body.
The outcome isn't a subdued executive SUV—it's a massive silver presence that refuses to go unnoticed. The IQL body style amplifies that effect. This is the long-wheelbase electric Escalade, stretching 5,803 mm long, 2,389 mm wide, and 1,933 mm tall. Wrapping a body that size in film is no quick task, especially when the goal is a flawless matte finish across those large panels.
Under the skin, this Escalade IQL is mechanically stock, but that's plenty impressive on its own. A pair of electric motors delivers all-wheel drive and a combined 750 hp and 1,064 Nm of torque. In Velocity Mode, the electric giant hits 60 mph (97 km/h) in 4.7 seconds, with a top speed limited to 124 mph (200 km/h). Curb weight tips the scales at 4,103 kg—blame the massive 205 kWh battery pack. Despite that heft, claimed range is up to 740 km, which is remarkable for a full-size luxury SUV of this size.
A stock Cadillac Escalade IQL starts at $123,295 in the US. DESIGNBYTMW hasn't disclosed the price of its work, but given the size of the vehicle, the custom wrap, wheels, and tinted lights, this is anything but a budget build.
The matte silver Escalade IQL isn't for those seeking anonymity. A black example looks more formal and familiar, but this finish does something different: it transforms the electric SUV into a near-showpiece. Controversial, costly, utterly conspicuous—and that's precisely the point.
