Cadillac wants $1,325 just to paint your Vistiq this shade of blue

Cadillac just turned a new shade of blue into a luxury upgrade. And the paint isn't even the biggest change for the 2027 Vistiq.

Cadillac is back to remind everyone that not every blue is created equal — and if you want the right one, you’ll be paying for the privilege. The 2027 Cadillac Vistiq has a brand-new exterior color called Blue Graphite Tricoat. It carries color code GXC and touch-up paint number WA-374M. The shade is available on the Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Platinum trims. The premium? $1,325. The Sport trim doesn’t get it at all.

Blue Graphite Tricoat can be paired with the optional Black painted roof. On the Luxury and Premium Luxury trims that combo adds another $695, while on the Vistiq Platinum the black roof is standard.

Blue Graphite Tricoat is one of three new colors added to the Vistiq palette for 2027. The model previously offered blue hues called Nimbus Metallic and Celestial Metallic, but both were dropped after the 2026 model year. Blue Graphite Tricoat essentially steps in to replace the lighter Nimbus Metallic.

The 2027 Vistiq lineup now claims nine paint choices total: Adobe Frost, Argent Silver Metallic, Cashmere, Emerald Lake Metallic, Opulent Blue Metallic, Radiant Red Tintcoat, Stellar Black Metallic, Vibrant White Tricoat, and Blue Graphite Tricoat itself. But the real headline isn’t the paintwork. The Vistiq now has a native NACS charging port — which means direct, no-adapter access to Tesla’s Supercharger network. The model rides on GM’s BEV3 platform and is built at the Spring Hill plant in Tennessee.
