Old Rolls-Royce Cullinan gets a new face — and nobody will tell the difference

Why buy a new Rolls-Royce when you can fake one? A US tuner has built a conversion kit that disguises the pre-facelift Cullinan as the latest Series II — and orders are piling up.

An old Rolls-Royce can be turned into a new one — without actually buying a new car. US tuning house Stars In The Ceiling has unveiled a conversion kit that morphs the pre-facelift Rolls-Royce Cullinan Series I into its fresher Series II form. Not on the factory floor, but by tuner hands. And judging by demand, plenty of owners are interested.

The transformation is all about the exterior — and it’s a serious arsenal of parts. The kit includes front and rear bumper elements, new headlights, the radiator grille, Spirit of Ecstasy trim, exhaust tips, chrome accents, radiator air ducts, interior mounts and a dozen other bits. Everything you need to make an old Cullinan pretend to be brand new. For the bolder clients there’s a separate package — styled after the menacing Black Badge.

According to the tuner itself, two conversions have already been completed. Another five cars are in the works. By the end of June 2026 the number of “rejuvenated” Cullinans could climb to seven or eight. Modest numbers — but this is a boutique clientele. As for the price, Stars In The Ceiling chose to stay quiet.

And under the hood? Nothing new. The standard Cullinan still runs the 6.75-litre twin-turbocharged V12 with 571 hp and 850 Nm, while the Black Badge version develops 600 hp and 900 Nm. The project offers no power gains and makes no such promise. The point lies elsewhere — making the older SUV visually indistinguishable from the new one. Only one question remains: why bother, when you could just buy a Series II?
