Mansory сделал то, во что мало кто верил — Rolls-Royce Phantom без перегруза

Американское подразделение Mansory представило Rolls-Royce Phantom без привычного перегруза. Белый кузов, оранжевая кожа и почти заводской задний бампер.

Mansory and restraint — a phrase few people believe in. But the new project from the tuner’s American division breaks the mold: the Rolls-Royce Phantom got a white body and a bright orange interior — and somehow avoided the usual visual overload.

On the outside, the Phantom is finished almost entirely in white. The massive signature Mansory wheels are painted in the same shade, while the chrome accents stay in place. The car wears an illuminated grille, a reworked lower front bumper section and, judging by its stance, sits a touch lower than the standard car.

The rear bumper looks close to factory. And that’s arguably the project’s biggest win: the original Rolls-Royce architecture stays intact. For the Phantom that matters — an overly aggressive body kit instantly turns a flagship sedan into tuning for tuning’s sake. Mansory bet on something else: color, wheels, proportions.

The cabin stands out far more than the exterior. Inside — bright orange leather with black accents and metal trim. It’s entirely possible that this finish could have been ordered through Rolls-Royce’s factory personalization program: the brand itself offers almost limitless Bespoke options. But in a Mansory context, the interior lands perfectly on the tuner’s love of contrast.

The tuner didn’t share any technical changes. If the engine is stock, the long hood hides a 6.75-liter twin-turbocharged V12. The factory Phantom puts out 563 hp and 664 lb-ft (900 Nm). The standard version hits 100 km/h (62 mph) in roughly 5.3 seconds, the long-wheelbase EWB — a touch slower.

The Phantom is built on the brand’s Architecture of Luxury platform, which Rolls-Royce also uses for the Ghost, Cullinan, Spectre and exclusive projects like the Boat Tail. So even after tuning, the foundation stays the same: a massive body, silence inside, and the feeling that speed isn’t really the point here.

This Mansory project is interesting precisely because of its balance. A white-and-orange Phantom is hardly subtle. But it clearly shows one thing: sometimes a tuner just needs to stop one step earlier — and the car only wins from it.
