Chinese electric estate storms Europe and the German premium club is sweating
Chinese electric grand tourer hits Europe with prices from €47,990, 800V platform, 519–655 km range. The German premium club just got nervous.
The Chinese didn't sneak in through the back door. Zeekr has rolled out the all-electric Grand Tourer 7GT across 16 European markets at once — and hasn't been shy with the price tag. In Germany, orders open from €47,990 for the Business Edition RWD. And after its premiere at the Brussels Motor Show in January 2026, European buyers have already lodged more than 3,800 pre-orders. And this is only the beginning.
The Zeekr 7GT rides on the 800-volt SEA platform and comes in three versions — each one with a buyer in mind. The base model is rear-wheel drive with a 75 kWh LFP battery and a single motor making 421 hp. WLTP range — 519 km. The Long Range version steps up to a 100 kWh NMC pack and stretches the legs to 655 km. And the top Privilege AWD? That's another story entirely. Two electric motors, 646 hp combined, 710 Nm of torque. Zero to 100 km/h — 3.3 seconds. Top speed — 210 km/h. Numbers that make Germany's premium brass break out in a cold sweat.
And the charging isn't for the faint of heart either. Up to 450 kW with the LFP battery, up to 420 kW with the NMC. On AC the car accepts 22 kW. Inside, there's a 15-inch OLED screen, a 13-inch instrument cluster, and a 35.5-inch head-up display. Massage, heated and ventilated seats come along for the ride. Among all the 2026 newcomers, the Zeekr 7GT is that rare case when Chinese premium stops apologising and starts setting the rules.
