Chevrolet Didn't Raise the Blazer EV Price a Single Cent, but the Options List Bites Back

The 2027 Blazer EV costs exactly what it did in 2026 — down to the cent. But a native NACS port, a pricier Super Cruise and a pile of packages can quietly inflate that sticker in a hurry.

Chevrolet just did something almost nobody expected from today's market: it left the price alone. The electric Blazer EV for the 2027 model year arrives for the same money as the 2026 car—down to the cent. The front-wheel-drive LT starts at $46,495, the LT AWD at $49,495. The RS FWD is set at $52,295, the RS AWD at $55,295, and the range-topping Blazer EV SS at $62,495. And that already includes destination: $1795 is baked into every line of the price list.

But the frozen price isn't the real headline. Something else matters more: the Blazer EV finally gets a NACS port. The very one that opens direct access to Tesla chargers with no adapter dance. New charging packages arrived alongside it. The Premium Charging Package runs $2371, the GM PowerUp charger with NACS costs $899, and the Level 2 adapter set plus the Fast Charging Adapter Package—just $256.

And now, the catch. The Super Cruise package has climbed noticeably: $3795, some $540 more than before. In return, it now bundles the premium eight-speaker Bose audio system—once reserved for SS owners, now available to everyone. The panoramic two-panel roof will run $1495, and the Comfort and Convenience package for the LT costs $2495, or $2095 if you order it with the Midnight/Sport Edition.

Dealer options come by the armful, and this is where the price starts living a life of its own. The Blackout Package runs up to $4050, the Tech Bronze Package up to $3835, the 22-inch wheels $2750, and the Charging Essentials Package $1155. On paper, the Blazer EV hasn't gone up a single cent. But start ticking boxes on the charging, styling and comfort packages, and that modest sticker swells before your eyes.

Production of the 2027 Chevrolet Blazer EV is scheduled to begin on July 27, 2026, at the GM Ramos Arizpe plant in Mexico. The LT and RS get an 85 kWh battery with front- or all-wheel drive, while the hot SS keeps all-wheel drive and a 102 kWh pack.
