Daniel Gale aces 11th to win BMW M5 Touring at BMW Australian PGA

During the opening round of the BMW Australian PGA Championship in Brisbane, professional golfer Daniel Gale made a hole-in-one and walked away with a prize: a BMW M5 Touring valued at AUD 204,976. The car had been set aside as the Hole-in-One reward on the 11th hole, and Gale found the cup from 154 metres using an 8-iron — a swing that left little doubt once it left the clubface.

The prize car is finished in Marina Bay Blue Metallic and fitted with black 951 M wheels and red brake calipers, without the optional M Carbon Ceramic braking system. Including taxes and fees, the figure for the Australian market comes to AUD 281,949.
