2026 Dodge Charger Scat Pack enters production in Windsor

Stellantis has begun building the two-door 2026 Dodge Charger Scat Pack at its Windsor, Canada plant. The model uses a 3.0-liter Twin Turbo Hurricane rated at 550 hp and 720 Nm of torque, delivering a 0–100 km/h time of 3.9 seconds. The first cars are already reaching dealerships, and that acceleration figure puts the coupe firmly in quick territory, with the twin-turbo setup promising strong mid-range pull.

The factory is scaling up to meet demand: a third shift arrives in early 2026 along with up to 1,500 additional jobs, driven by interest in the Scat Pack, R/T, Charger Daytona, and the Chrysler minivan range. Assembly of the 670-hp electric Charger Daytona Scat Pack continues as well—a two-track approach that neatly reflects where buyer preferences are today.

Since 2022, the company has invested 1.9 billion Canadian dollars to modernize the site, introducing the STLA Large architecture, installing 301 robots, and upgrading 410 workstations. A further 600 engineering roles have been added, along with 1,000 positions at the NextStar Energy joint venture. The scope of upgrades and hiring signals a long-haul commitment to the Windsor operation and to the platform underpinning these models.
