Brabus unveils Invicto Mission VR6 Plus ERV armored G 500 built for survival
German tuning house Brabus has unveiled a new flagship in its Invicto range—the Mission VR6 Plus ERV armored SUV, based on the Mercedes-Benz G 500. According to SPEEDME.RU, this off-roader is built not for society rallies but to survive the extremes—from escorting military convoys to shielding government officials.
At its core is the Invicto Shelter Cell, combining hot-stamped steel panels with 3D-printed components. The ERV (Explosion Resistant Vehicle) specification is designed to withstand fire from automatic weapons and low-yield blasts. The design preserves the unmistakable G-Class silhouette, helping the vehicle blend into urban surroundings.
The cabin follows a mission-focused brief: four individual seats with multi-point harnesses, an intercom, an emergency hatch, night-vision capability, and an integrated fire-suppression system. Under the hood sits a 4.0-liter V8 rated at 416 hp; a reinforced chassis and run-flat tires help maintain control even after the tires are damaged.
The SUV weighs nearly four tons and consumes about 19 liters per 100 km. The price is €712,810. It comes across less as a car and more as a mobile fortress, where every detail serves survival—showing how Brabus turns luxury into protection.
